Tahini Sauce for a Better Night’s Sleep

This Tahini Sauce makes a great multi-purpose sauce! I’ve made this many times to top on several things including these delicious Eggplant Patties or Falafels you see here.

Try this sauce on raw noodles, on various salads, with other pastas, vegetable patties, on Eggplant Subs, Veggie Wraps, with Falafel, and much more!  With just a few simple ingredients you can have a raw vegan sauce that is full of flavor!

Did you know that the essential oils found in herbs have peculiar, powerful properties? They’re simultaneously stimulating, sedative, and hypnotic, which means they stimulate as well as pacify. (1) The same goes for the essential oils in dill. The flavonoids and vitamin-B complex in dill’s essential oils are stimulating in nature and activate the secretion of specific enzymes and hormones that have calming and hypnotic effects that could help you get a good night’s sleep. (1)


  • 1/4 C Raw Tahini
  • About 1/8 C Water
  • 1 t Dill
  • 1 t Minced Garlic
  • 1 T Lemon Juice


  1. Put all ingredients into a blender until smooth.
