In a day and age of high fructose corn syrup, GMO’s, sitting and staring at screens, lack of exposure to the helpful friends of shivering cold and sweating heat; our brains do not get enough blood flow and oxygen. This lack of the vital fuel for our bodies blood circulation has seen an extraordinary rise in depression, strokes, and neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s. Mucuna Pruriens is a wondrous bean grown off ….. plants. Mucuna Pruriens is proven to have “showed significant protection against brain damage” in a study¹ where arteries were occluded (blocked). While we do not condone animal research, we can see in the rats tested that their arterial occlusion dissipated once administered with Mucuna Pruriens.

In addition to this AMAZING finding, another study was conducted to find how Mucuna could aid with the poisonous effects of High Fructose Corn Syrup. In this study² the control group fed just High Fructose Corn Syrup showed “membrane degradation resulting from possible oxidative stress and inflammation in the brain”, and the group fed HFCS and Mucuna showed much less damage and that “ Mucuna pruriens could have therapeutic effects on free fatty acid metabolism and local inflammatory responses”.

It’s no wonder with all of this neurological improvement of fatty acid metabolism, inflammation decrease, and better blood flow that many ancient cultures spoke about the “eye-opening” effects on the Pineal Gland with this amazing natural tool.
