Raw Vegan Sweet Dill Dip For Heart Burn & Insomnia

This raw vegan dill dip is both creamy and sweet.  Use it as a dip for veggies or fruit.  I especially like this for dipping red bell peppers, carrots, cucumbers, and cauliflower.  You could also use Sweet Dill Dip as a condiment for pitas, wraps, subs, sandwiches, burgers, and more.  As you already know, dill is quite flavorful and aromatic, but did you know it has a number of health benefits?  Relief from heartburn and helping those who suffer from insomnia are just two of those benefits.

Dill is known to stimulate the lining of the esophagus and help with removal of acid that normally causes the burning associated with heartburn. (1) It doesn’t actually rid the tube of the stomach acid that comes up, but rather, invigorates the muscles to work harder to ingest the agitating acid back into the stomach, according to sources. (1)  Dill also provides us with healthy alternatives towards relieving the body and the mind of insomnia. (1) Flavonoids and vitamins that are plentiful within the herb can assist with speeding up the production of hormones in the body, and provide a relaxed and calm feeling in our systems. (1)


  • 1 C Macadamia Nuts
  • 3/4 C Cashew Nuts
  • 1/2 to 3/4 C Water
  • Juice from 1/2 Lemon
  • 1/3 C Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/4 C Grapeseed Oil
  • 3 T Agave Nectar
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 3 t Onion Powder
  • 1 t Dill
  • 1 t Basil
  • Pink or Black Himalayan Sea Salt to taste


  1. Put all ingredients into a high speed blender until smooth.
  2. Refrigerate.
